How would you define yourself?
Environmentalist, Conservationist, Worcestershire County Council Countryside Service employee
Please describe yourself and your areas of interest.
Since graduating with a geography degree I have worked in countryside roles in the West Midlands and Worcestershire including working with volunteers who play an important role in many areas of nature conservation. I am now a partner in a small business encouraging everyone to plant wildflowers in whatever size outdoor space they have to try and help with the massive decline in pollinating insects. When time allows I also volunteer with the Wyre Community Land Trust which is now our neighbours on Ruskin Land in the Wyre Forest. My partner Paul Gibson is also a Guild Companion.
Why did you become a Companion of the Guild?
Moving onto Ruskin Land gave us the opportunity to physically contribute to Ruskin's philosophy of life
