Please describe yourself and your areas of interest.

I am a retired sixth-form teacher. My special interest, on which I have published widely, is English post-Reformation Catholic history, but I also have a strong interest in Ruskin, and have published on his Catholic connections.

Why did you become a Companion of the Guild?

I was glad of the opportunity to join the Guild which Ruskin founded and to support its activities.
