Historian with a special interest in the history of ideas. Author of Ruskin and Social Reform. Elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
Please describe yourself and your areas of interest.
I am retired from full-time employment, but I continue to take an active interest in academic research.
Why did you become a Companion of the Guild?
I was invited to become a Companion and I retain an interest in the work of the Guild as it becomes increasingly relevant.
