Please describe yourself and your areas of interest.
Since retirement from academe, my focus has returned to natural history, particularly trees and tree drawing. My other interests include the pluriverse, the relationship between religion and science, residential education and care for children, geography, early music, poetry and cricket.
Why did you become a Companion of the Guild?
Following a visit to Brantwood, I was drawn by Ruskin's range of skills and accomplishments. At the Watts Gallery, was informed of his interest in the relationship of nature, religion and art. His social, economic and political views also parallel my own
